This year, Burger King enthusiasts have experienced a series of distinctive Whopper variations, including the Fiery Bacon Whopper released last summer and the purple-hued Wednesday’s Whopper introduced earlier this fall. The chain is now introducing three additional Whopper variations, which may be among the most unconventional yet.
On November 14, Burger King will introduce the Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper, Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper, and Mexican Street Corn Whopper to its menus nationwide. Although Burger King introduced the new Whopper flavors in mid-September, the chain did not provide an official debut date for the burgers until this week.
The three Whoppers were selected as finalists in Burger King’s “Million Dollar Whopper Contest,” which commenced in early 2024, inviting customers to propose original Whopper taste concepts for an opportunity to win $1 million and have their bespoke burgers available in locations for a limited duration.
The chain reported that it evaluated over one million contest entries before selecting the Fried Pickle Ranch, Maple Bourbon BBQ, and Mexican Street Corn Whoppers. Customers will now have the opportunity to evaluate the finalists and assist in determining which one secures the $1 million grand prize.
The wrappers of the Million Dollar Whopper sandwich will feature QR codes directing patrons to the Burger King app or website, enabling them to vote on their preferred ideas until December 5. A Royal Perks account is necessary to cast a vote; therefore, ensure you register beforehand if you wish to assist in selecting the contest winner.

The Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper, devised by Fabian of California, comprises a quarter-pound flame-grilled beef patty adorned with pickle ranch, lettuce, fried pickles, bacon, and Swiss cheese, all encased in a toasted sesame bun.
The Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper, devised by Calvin from California, consists of a quarter-pound flame-grilled beef patty adorned with maple bourbon BBQ sauce, maple bacon seasoning, bacon, American cheese, and crispy onions and jalapeños, all encased in a toasted sesame seed bun.
The Mexican Street Corn Whopper, devised by Kelsie from Nebraska, consists of a quarter-pound flame-grilled beef patty adorned with street corn spread, lettuce, tomato, Southwest-seasoned tortilla crisps, and Mexican hot queso, all encased in a toasted sesame seed bun.
In a display of gratitude towards consumers who contributed ideas that were not selected as finalists, Burger King is offering one million original Whopper sandwiches for only $1, commencing today, November 12. Royal Perks members may redeem this promotion in the “offers” section of the Burger King app, subject to availability.
