This year promises to be exhilarating for KFC enthusiasts due to the introduction of new menu items such as Saucy Nuggets and bite-sized Apple Pie Poppers. KFC customers now have further reasons for enthusiasm following the introduction of a new chicken sandwich and two novel meal deals at the fast-food chain.
KFC has recently launched a new variant of their popular chicken sandwich, known as the Saucy Sandwich, which offers enhanced flavor.
This digital-exclusive variant includes the identical buttery brioche bun, thick pickles, and Colonel’s mayo as the original, but the fried chicken filet is garnished with the customer’s selected sauce.
The sauce selections for the Saucy Sandwich mirror those presently offered for the Saucy Nuggets: Honey BBQ (600 calories), Korean BBQ (620 calories), Honey Garlic (610 calories), Mango Habanero (590 calories), and Chipotle Ranch (670 calories).
KFC has released the new Saucy Sandwich along with two additional $5 dishes to its Taste of KFC Deals value menu, which was launched in April. As on August 12, one of the new packages (590-850 calories) includes eight chicken nuggets, fries, and two sauces.
The alternative $5 promotion includes a KFC Famous Bowl (590 calories), with mashed potatoes, sweet corn, chicken nuggets, gravy, and a blend of three shredded cheeses.
In addition to the two new agreements, KFC continues to provide one of the original value bundles introduced with its Taste of KFC Deals menu in April. The meal (540-810 calories) consists of two pieces of fried chicken (a drumstick and a thigh), a biscuit, and a serving of mashed potatoes with gravy.
Nick Chavez, chief marketing officer for KFC U.S., stated, “In response to customers seeking greater value from brands, we are augmenting our Taste of KFC lineup with new fan favorites such as our nuggets and Famous Bowls, each priced at $5.” “The Taste of KFC Deals present three options, catering to diverse preferences, at an exceptional price.”
KFC is not the sole business that has recently incorporated additional value alternatives into its menu in response to consumer dissatisfaction with escalating restaurant pricing.
Outback Steakhouse has recently launched a new three-course Aussie Aussie Aussie dinner, commencing at only $14.99, establishing it as the chain’s most economical option of the year. The meal includes a soup or salad, an entrée, a steakhouse side, and a slice of New York-style cheesecake.
Burger King reinstated their $5 Your Way Meal in June and recently announced the promotion’s extension until October, attributing this decision to its popularity and value proposition.
