Shake Shack Is Launching 3 New Burgers & Special Fries

Following this summer’s BBQ Menu, Shake Shack is revisiting cherished flavors from the past to embrace autumn. The fast-casual burger chain is reintroducing its acclaimed Black Truffle Menu, now comprising three burgers and loaded fries. Customers will be able to access the additional items via the Shake Shack app beginning September 10. The items will subsequently be accessible at various sites throughout the United States on September 13.

The initial umami-laden option to indulge in is the Black Truffle Burger (700 calories per burger). This menu item consists of a 100% Angus beef burger adorned with Gruyere cheese, authentic black truffle sauce, and crispy sweet onions, all presented on a toasted potato bun. The restaurant has enhanced the burger’s crispy onions, utilizing Vidalia onions that are briefly pickled with a touch of vinegar and sugar before to frying.

If you seek a vegetarian alternative, you are fortunate. The menu has a Black Truffle ‘Shroom Burger (600 calories), consisting of a crispy fried portobello mushroom stuffed with melted muenster and cheddar cheeses. This dish is garnished with black truffle sauce and shredded lettuce, presented on a toasted potato bun.

The Black Truffle Shack Stack, containing both meat and mushrooms, has 870 calories. This features a towering 100% Angus beef burger, Gruyere cheese, a fried portobello mushroom packed with melted muenster and cheddar cheeses, and black truffle sauce.

Shake Shack patrons can complement their burger with the chain’s Black Truffle Parmesan Fries (800 calories), which are coated in parmesan cheese and accompanied by black truffle sauce.

The burger restaurant collaborated with the Italian olive oil firm Bartolini Emilio to develop its black truffle sauce. The Black Truffle Menu was introduced to the chain in 2020, although these dishes were exclusively available at select locations in New York City and Los Angeles. In October 2021, the firm subsequently introduced its Black Truffle Menu on a national level. This menu exclusively included the Black Truffle Burger and Parmesan Garlic Fries accompanied with Black Truffle Sauce.

For those seeking a beverage to accompany their burger and fries, Shake Shack has collaborated with New York City’s Talea Beer Co. to create a unique beer specifically crafted to complement the Black Truffle Menu. The Talea Black Truffle Lager is crafted with authentic black truffles and porcini mushrooms. It is important to note that the beer will exclusively be available in 16-ounce cans at certain Shake Shack locations in New York City.
